GLENDA'S POETRY CORNER

MIGRAINE

my temples throb with pain
as I arise from my bed
with the start of a migraine
I need a new head

whiny black cat
wants in, wants out
contents of my stomach
vanish down the spout

the mail's arrived
will the day get worse
as I rhyme I conclude
it's gone from bed to verse
